Dr. Olufemi B. Oyetunji

Dr. Femi Oyetunji is the current Managing Director of Continental Reinsurance Plc. He obtained a First Class Honors degree from University of Manchester in 1976 and a Masters from imperial College London in 1977 before returning to the University of Manchester where he obtained his Ph.D in 1980. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, a title which he obtained in 1992 after spending some years in Bacon and Woodrow, Epsom England, arguably one of the largest actuarial consulting firms in Europe at that time. On his return to Nigeria in 1992, Femi Oyetunji joined Aiico Insurance Plc. He rose to the position of General Manager before he moved to Crusader Insurance to assume the position of Managing Director in December 1998. He also served as the Managing Director of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria Limited.

nFemi Oyetunji has consulted in a wide variety of employee benefits in Nigeria including life, non-life and pension benefits. He was the Lead Actuary to many large schemes including those of Federal Government Civil Service Scheme, the Central Bank of Nigeria and multinationals such as Addax Petroleum, CFAO, Cadbury Plc to mention a few.n
