Late Dr. Gamaliel Oforitsenere Onosode – (1981-2001)
Late Dr. Gamaliel Oforitsenere Onosode OFR was the founding President of the Association of Pension Fund and Investment Managers (now Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers). He was an alumnus of The University College Ibadan (now University of Ibadan) where he graduated with a B.A (Hons) Classics having won many departmental and faculty prizes.
His professional and working career span both the private and public sectors. He was at various times, with Commonwealth Development Corporation as management trainee and executive assistant to the Regional Controller, Asst. General Manager Nigeria Housing Development Society Ltd., (now Federal Mortgage Bank) Asst. General Manager NIDB, Chairman and Chief Executive NAL Merchant Bank Plc. He was the Chairman and Director of many business enterprises and philanthropic organizations. He was a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and Pro- Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, University of Uyo. He was an ordained Baptist Deacon. He was also awarded Honorary Doctor of Science by the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and the University of Benin.
Throughout his career, Dr. G. O. Onosode chaired several private and public sector businesses and initiatives. He was former Chairman of the following organization; Dunlop Nigeria Plc (1984-2007), Cadbury Nigeria Plc (1977-93), the Presidential Commission on Parastatals (1981), Nigeria LNG Working Committee and Nigeria LNG Limited (1985-1990) and the Niger Delta Environment Survey (1995); and former chairman Zain Nigeria Ltd (now Airtel Nig Limited), a GSM telecommunications company, the oldest GSM operator in Nigeria.

Chief Ajibola Ogunsola - (2001-2003)
Chief Ogunsola attended Government College, Ibadan and later graduated in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan in 1967. Between 1974 and 1985 he served as the Managing Director/CEO of Niger Insurance Plc from where he went on to set up the renowned Ajibola Ogunsola & Co., then a leading Actuarial Consulting firm. He is a fellow of Institute of Actuaries of England, and Honorary Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He was appointed Chairman Presidential Committee on Civil Service Pension Review in 1988 and also Chairman, Committee of actuaries of the United Nations Pension Fund. He also served as the Chairman, Committee on the Harmonization of the Private and Public Sector Retirement/Pension Schemes for Greater Efficiency. He was the Chairman of The Punch Newspapers and the current chairman of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria Limited and Continental Reinsurance Plc.

Late Mr. Felix. N. Akpe – (2003-2009)
Late Mr. Felix Akpe was the Chairman of First Stockbrokers Limited, Chairman of First Pension Consultants Ltd, and Chief Executive of Institute of Financial Planning. Also he was the Chairman of Kamaly Farms Limited, National Chairman of Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria (SCIAN), President of Nigerian Integrated Rural Accelerated Development Organisation (NIRADO), Board Member of Cultural Affairs International, Brussels - Belgium and Chairman of the Association of Pension Fund and Investment Managers.

Dr. Olufemi B. Oyetunji - (2009 - 2016)
Dr. Femi Oyetunji is the current Managing Director of Continental Reinsurance Plc. He obtained a First Class Honors degree from University of Manchester in 1976 and a Masters from imperial College London in 1977 before returning to the University of Manchester where he obtained his Ph.D in 1980. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, a title which he obtained in 1992 after spending some years in Bacon and Woodrow, Epsom England, arguably one of the largest actuarial consulting firms in Europe at that time. On his return to Nigeria in 1992, Femi Oyetunji joined Aiico Insurance Plc. He rose to the position of General Manager before he moved to Crusader Insurance to assume the position of Managing Director in December 1998. He also served as the Managing Director of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria Limited.

Toyin F. Sanni - (2016 - 2019)
Toyin has served for over four years as Group Chief Executive Officer of United Capital Plc (formerly UBA Capital Plc), a leading African Investment Banking group listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange comprising market leading business divisions in Investment Banking, Trust, Asset Management and Securities Divisions.
Toyin chairs the Financial Literacy Technical Committee (FLTC) of the Nigerian Capital Market. She is also the President of the Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers (IAPM); and Founder/Chairperson of Women in Finance Nigeria (WIFng) – an advocacy and development platform for women in the Nigerian financial sector.
She was named the All African Business Woman of the Year 2017 by CNBC Africa; and Nigeria’s CEO of the Year by Pearl Awards becoming the first female CEO to win the Award in its 22-year history. She also led her company to win the Best Corporate Governance, Highest Dividend Yield and Sectoral Award categories, clinching the Best Overall Company Award. Toyin also won the BusinessDay Top 25 CEO on the NSE Award in 2014, 2015 and 2016, amongst many other awards.
Before her appointment as Group Chief Executive Officer of United Capital, Toyin was Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UBA Trustees & Global Investor Services for 8 years during which she grew the Trust business from startup to a clear market leader. She also established and grew UBA’s domestic custody business to top 3 industry position.
Prior to her time at UBA Trustees, she was Managing Director of Cornerstone Trustees Limited where she established and supervised the Cornerstone group’s trusts, asset management equipment leasing businesses. She also served as Assistant General Manager – Trust Services at First Trustees, a part of the FBN Holdings Group, between 1999 and 2003.
Her other past roles include Chairperson, Annual Capital Market Retreat and Conference (2012-2014), President, Association of Trustees, Chairman, Committee on Custody of Securities and Member, National Bond Steering Committee amongst others.
Toyin sits on several Boards and has served on several industry and regional committees.

Mr. Abimbola Olashore (2019 - 2025)
Mr. Abimbola Olashore is an Engineering graduate of the University of Hull, U.K. and a Master degree in Business Administration from IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Fellow Chartered Institute of Taxasation, Fellow, Institute of Directors (FioD), Fellow of iapm among others. A seasoned investment banker, he has over the years acquired in-depth knowledge and vast experience in the capital market as well as financial advisory services in the public and private sector. Mr. Olashore was one time or the other Managing Director of Lead Bank Group, Executive Director of Ecobank Nigeria Plc., Managing Director, LeadCapital Plc. He has held many board positions, among which are, Director of Kakawa Discount House Limited, Finance Institutions Training Centre (FITC), Nigerian Interbank Settlement System Plc., Crusader Sterling Pensions Limited. He is currently the Chairman, Board of Governors of Oladele Olashore International School Association, Lead Asset Management Limited and Lead Securities Limited, Director, Unico CPFA Limited, Hon.
